These fish munch on the coral and you can actually hear them munch under water. "Sea Folk" was painted in oil as a triptych. Parrot fish are very colorful and they change colors as they grow. When they are young they can be very red. As they grow older they change to the softer blue colors. The painting also features blue tang and sergeant majors, which look like a tiger fish. Great painting for a bathroom. I have had the image reproduced on tiles for my shower.
