      In this painting I enjoyed the interplay
      of light and shadow on her face. The rippling blue of the pool
      created a complimentary hue against the colors of her blouse.
      Jeannie appears to be a troubled teen with the world at her fingertips.
      Nothing could be further from the truth. However, from a universal
      point of view, this portrait represents young adults at the brink
      of life faced with the questions of tomorrow.
